Akuo cuts ribbon on 1.2-MW solar park with storage in Mayotte
Built at the site of a former landfill, the solar plant will be capable of generating electricity to almost 1,7000 inhabitants of the island and offset 1,100 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually. Its lithium-ion battery energy storage system of 3.5 MWh will provide discharge capacity for three hours.
